The primary goal of this course is to provide students with the essential background on semiconductor materials and devices including a basic understanding of crystal structure, energy bands, charge carriers and junctions.

This is one of the advanced level courses in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. The course aims at making the student familiar with the protection methods and equipment of electrical energy systems and their different building parts in order to be able to know the way of manufacture and operation of protective devices. The students shall acquaint themselves about the learning in-depth understanding of all faults associated in an electrical power system and be able to operate and troubleshooting small and large power system as a power engineer.
This course is an introductory course in the field of Electronics Engineering. The course presents the fundamental principles of frequency response and feedback required for any course of study in the engineering sciences. The student will be introduced to the principles and applications of feedback amplifier, operational amplifier, power amplifier and Oscillator. Students will study the interaction between active and passive filter and apply analogies between the two. Topics include: Technical problem solving and communication skills; Analog computation using operational amplifier, designing of filter using op-amp. Finally, the course will present the essentials of the Electronics engineering profession and where it fits in the world of technology.
