Control System Laboratory

Students use MATLAB and MATLAB Simulink for design and simulation purposes. Modeling of different systems in MATLAB and simulating the responses for different inputs are observed. Modeling of DC motor, block diagram reduction in MATLAB, Different systems and the responses based on different inputs, manipulating responses by changing different variables, the effect of poles and zeros on a system, PID controller, system stability using the root-locus technique, plotting of different graphs etc. are experimentally observed in this laboratory. Students also learn the hardware part and the communication between MATLAB and Arduino to control the hardware with MATLAB command.
